Membership Categories
Members of the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute are companies, organizations and individuals who support and work toward advancing the mission of ICPI. The Board of Directors determines types of membership, eligibility, privileges, and dues. Contractors may join as voting or non-voting members. Other membership categories include International, Dealer/Distributor, and Informational. Members in these categories do not vote.
Voting Membership Categories
Members in these categories may vote in committees, serve as committee chairman, nominate, be nominated, and be elected to the Board of Directors.
Producer
Any manufacturer of concrete pavers in the U.S., Canada or Mexico. Dues shall be paid on all production facilities and machines producing concrete pavers under the same management and/or ownership regardless of location.
Paving Slab Producer
Companies that only manufacture precast concrete paving slabs, units 12 x 12 in. (30 x 30 cm) to 36 x 36 in. (91 x 91 cm). (Companies that make paving slabs and concrete pavers qualify as Producer Members).
Associate
Companies that provide supplies, materials, equipment or services to the concrete paver industry.
Contractor (voting)
Companies that install interlocking concrete pavement systems in the U.S., Canada or Mexico.
Non-Voting Membership Categories
Members in these categories receive full membership benefits but may not vote in committees, serve as committee chairman, nominate, be nominated or be elected to the Board of Directors.
Contractor (non-voting)
Companies that install interlocking concrete pavement systems in the U.S., Canada or Mexico.
Dealer/Distributor
Companies that sell but do not manufacture concrete pavers in the U.S., Canada or Mexico. Dealers can serve on committees but not as committee chair.
Design Professional
Companies that design or specify interlocking concrete pavement systems in the U.S., Canada or Mexico. Design Professionals can serve on committees but not as committee chair
Informational
Companies and organizations that do not qualify for other membership categories.
International
Producers as defined above who only manufacture concrete pavers outside North America.
Local Non-Voting Membership Categories
Only available in Local Chapter Areas. Both Local Dealer & Local Associate must join at the National Level as well as at the Chapter Level.
Local Associate
A supplier of products or services whose main office and majority of business is in a regional chapter territory. Only available where chapters are located. Local Associates must join the ICPI and the ICPI chapter located in their area.
Local Dealer
Companies that sell but do not manufacture interlocking concrete pavers and whose majority of business is in a regional chapter territory. Only available where chapters are located. Local Dealers must join the ICPI and ICPI chapter located in their area.
