Englobe Corporation Consulting Engineers and Pavestone Plus

A contract was initiated in late February 2021 and an initial meeting with Englobe consultants was held on March 4th. The initial phase of the project involves aggregate testing to see which open-graded aggregates offer the better choking and stability characteristics for use in permeable pavements. Based on that assessment, a Construction Committee task group will recommend three pavement assemblies for construction by Pavestone Plus that will be subject to vehicular loading on which Englobe will conduct condition surveys for two years. The pavements will be built on an ICPI member’s property in Ontario in mid-2021.
