GIE+EXPO and HNA 2017 trade shows are shaping up to be can't-miss opportunities! Plans are in place for some new and exciting offerings to build off of last year's record-breaking events. We appreciate that many of you have already been sharing show news with your readers and hope you'll continue to help us generate excitement for the industry's biggest event. We'll keep you updated with the latest happenings, and you can always find all of the media releases on the show web sites: GIE+EXPO News | HNA News
If you haven't already reserved media credentials, you can obtain the form here. We will send badges in October, along with a press conference schedule and other last-minute details. Even if you're already registered as an exhibitor, please submit this form so we can prepare media credentials and make sure you stay up-to-date on press events.
The Press Center will be in the same location as last year -South Wing Conference Center C111. Workspace, Wi-Fi and other services will be provided for editorial press.
As you are making travel plans, keep in mind that there will be plenty of action on Wednesday (Dealer Day) even though the show floor doesn't open until 3 PM. Press conferences are slated to begin at noon, and we already have several on Wednesday's lineup. Also on Wednesday you'll find a wide range of education, including the new Dealer Boot Camp with Bob Clements; HNA's Dealer Day Program; a keynote featuring noted economist Alan Beaulieu; UTV University; ICPI & NCMA Pre-Show Installer Courses; NALP and PGMS sessions and more.
Additionally, you'll want to be on hand for Wednesday's welcome reception for dealers, distributors, retailers and media at 5 PM followed by the opening night concert featuring Uncle Kracker.
Four airlines are offering discounts on travel to the show. If you're flying to Louisville you may want to take advantage of the savings and also share the info in this news release with your readers. Remember to reserve your hotel early, as they will fill up fast now that registration is open.
