A Hardscape Getaway
This 1466 square foot hardscape project for a Los Angeles home was located on a small hill overlooking a vibrant landscape of greenery. Castle Cobble pavers, manufactured by Angelus Pavers, were used as the primary pavers for the hardscape surfaces. Go Pavers used these pavingstones, which emulate natural stone, in warm, charcoal tones that worked well with the preexisting mosaic tiled swimming pool and the lush green of the surrounding landscape. In this project the cream brown charcoal and grey moss charcoal not only work with each other, but also strike a balance with the home and the yard.
The main challenge facing the project was the access conditions since the project was in the backyard so transporting the materials to the backyard was a bit more difficult. However, our ICPI Project Managers utilized more manpower to transport the materials and complete the project.
We worked on this project in three steps. Firstly, the preexisting concrete at the site was demolished. The homeowners were having a pool installed, so we had to temporarily leave the site so that work could be done, returning to install the pool coping and then the interlocking pavers. Go Pavers specially designed a pavers hardscape that captures this rustic, earthy quality.
